HOW OLD AM I?
Sometimes I can't tell.
4 Signs you're old:
1. You hurt your back bustin' your favorite dance move.
2. You wash dishes for fun. (true story!!!) By hand. Barefoot. Uphill both ways.
3. You prefer going to bed at 10 pm.

4. You no longer think you're going to "meet someone" at the gym, grocery store, or library, like you did and planned for when you were 18 (that's so sad).
4 Signs you're not old, and probably never will be:
1. You want to go see a movie in the theater because "everyone" is talking about it ("everyone" referring to all the 2nd graders you teach)
2. Your guilty pleasure is still fruit snacks. And gushers. And you still kind of want Lunchables (they're just SO cute, those little crackers!!)
3. You sleep in until 10:30 practically every day on your Christmas break.
4. Your friend made you dinosaur pajama bottoms as a joke but you actually wear them to bed. And you also wear your hair in a high pony. Still.
girl, aint no shame in dino pjs. or high pony tails. and i'm notgunnalie, totally love white bread sandwiches with nothing but american cheese and lunch meat. And is THAT why you went to see Frozen?? That cracks me up!

ReplyDeleteLindsey, take no shame in a high pony tail and a desire for Disney tunes. But be forewarned, Frozen's soundtrack (while catchy) can drive a person nutty when sung/played repeatedly for weeks on end. And just for the record, I started going to bed by 10 pm before I finished college. Not a bad thing at all. In fact, getting a good night's sleep will keep you young.

Love the "meet someone" comment! I remember feeling that way at 18, too, ha ha! LOVE the dino pjs and want some pls! As for the high pony tail, that is truly a sign of youth b/c when you go gray, that is the first hairdo to go! =)
