新年快乐

I wanted to share with you all what I've been working with at work - these two songs that we performed this past week for parents and also for the school. I thought they turned out really good! It has been a lot of work to choreograph, teach lyrics, motivate, etc but watching them perform and excel sure is worth it. It's moments like these I remember why I like my job.

This first one is about the four seasons.

And this one is about the 12 Chinese Zodiacs.

And of course I wouldn't be able to do my job without my awesome coworkers who will humor me in doing an Asian karate chop. BTH

  4. AWESOME, Lindsey!! I am seriously incredibly impressed that you could teach words, actions, and rhythm to a group that large - and make all the props and motivate them to perform. Having done "theater," it's obviously how much work you must have put into those performances. Congratulations on a job well done! I bet you were super proud of all your students (and I bet their parents loved the performances)!!

  5. I have seen a lot of second grade performances, but none so animated and where ALL the kids knew the lyrics! I also haven't seen so much choreography -- great job! I am guessing there weren't a lot of dry eyes in the audience, either!

  6. I can't help but remember you working on this over Christmas and showing me some of your choreography. It's like a bunch of little Lindseys!! I LOVE IT!! I can only imagine how much work went into this. So proud of you!
ps: is there a way for me to watch it full screen?

  7. Linds! You choreographed this too?! You are seriously amazing! I absolutely loved the first video (the second one was great too but the first was my personal fav).
