Assignment: write about me in Chinese (yes, I am that egotistical)
Usually very silly student writes: "Ms. Hatch has white hair"
I read it, and confess: "Did you know that I actually DO have white hair?"
Student says: "I know."
Me: "REALLY!?? HAVE YOU SEEN IT??"
Student says: "Yes."
Me: "NO WAY. Then where is it??"
Student proceeds to point out all of the places I have white hair.

ReplyDeleteI shouldn't laugh, but it's kind of funny (at least the way you write it). And I know the feeling. You were the one that pointed out my gray hairs to me for the first time. But unfortunately, I still haven't made an appointment to fix it (although I've thought about it many times since). Although I must say that I agree with Mom: I don't see it myself on you!
